Just a little post workshop hollowback. So grateful to be feeling like my backbends are becoming stronger again. Love this journey and all is regressions and progressions…it just teaches me how resilient we can be❤️

Try this full body flow! This would be the second time round on the standing sequence where I offer progressive options but standard poses and modifications are always on the table! LMK if you want me to post the warmup and standing sequence part 1 (the build up to this advanced sequence).❤️

Here’s the sequence I taught this week.

I loved how easily this one flowed. The transitions were quick, the spring changes were minimal, and everything connected really naturally.

We opened at the back with Giant Bear, then took a fun little ride home to the front to finish the core opener with Saw and Inchworm. One of my favorite transitions was the floating Bear Fire Hydrant: we kept the leg lifted out to the side, then stepped straight into our floor lunge. Super seamless.

From there, we moved into the leg block: floor lunge, side-lying leg press, a quick turn around while taking springs off, reverse well lunge, then into a hybrid single-leg squat / inner-thigh series.

After that, we faced the back for bodyweight scrambled eggs on both sides, sat facing the back for Soul Train, then took another little carriage ride into side crunches and twisted crunches.

That brought us right into floating Bear Fire Hydrant on the second side before repeating the full leg sequence.
At the end of the second leg block, we were already at the back, so we dropped down for hamstring curls with pull-ups. Then we let the carriage close, added a couple springs, and moved into upper body: shoulder presses, rows, single-arm draw the sword, sexy back, and pushups on the carriage to glue the two sides together.

We finished with a heavier spring bear series: Bear, Bear Kick, Pike, and done.

Full body, lots of obliques, legs, hamstrings, shoulders, arms, and back — with very little downtime!
