Drove around to have a look-see of Guntersville Lake State Park.
A few very steep hills (not sure I'm brave enough to take the Double-D up there just yet 😬) But once at the top, the view was well worth the stains 😏

Part of our 2020 southern states road trip is a couple stops in Alabama. We will have more pics later on in the week, but since we haven't posted in a while, i thought we would share yesterday's hike with yall. We are in Beautiful Guntersville Alabama. Surrounded by mountains and water, this little part of the state offers BIG scenery. Our hike began at High Falls Park. Usually (in told) the falls are over 100ft tall and are spectacular, they have had no rain to mention all summer, so as you will see, what are normally underwater rocks, are now showing up as canyons... Mother Nature's forever changing the landscape. 🌻
