💙 Rallying Around Emily 💙
This year, Emily will be entering her sophomore year at Bristol-Plymouth. While her sophomore year looks very different than she ever could have imagined, we want our BP community to know the incredible young woman behind the diagnosis.
Before being diagnosed with osteosarcoma, Emily was an avid cheerleader who brought determination, strength, and heart to everything she did. She was the kind of athlete who didn’t quit when things got hard—she pushed through, worked harder, and kept going.
That same fight has never left her.
Emily has faced more over the course of her illness than any teenager should ever have to face, yet she continues to show incredible strength and courage. Now, we have an opportunity as a community to surround one of our own with the same energy, encouragement, and support that she has always given to those around her.
Once a cheerleader, always a cheerleader—and now it’s our turn to cheer for Emily. 💙
