CALLING ALL HALLOWEEN HOST HOMES! 🎃

Planning to hand out candy this Halloween? Let’s put your house on the map! Sign up to be a Bear Valley Halloween Host Home and help local trick-or-treaters find their next sweet stop.

Whether your porch is home to one smiling pumpkin or an entire skeleton crew, we’d love to have you join the fun!

Halloween Night: Saturday, October 31 | 5:30–8:00 PM
FREE registration ends October 28!
Sign up at bvsa.recdesk.com

We’ll use the address on your RecDesk account, so please make sure it’s current. On Halloween night, display a “Host Home” sign and keep your address clearly visible.

The Host Home Map will be available October 30 online and at the Whiting Center.

Get your candy bowls ready, Bear Valley—let’s give those little ghosts and goblins plenty of stops!

We’re getting ready for tomorrow’s Halloween Carnival! Please plan ahead for the following closure on Saturday, October 24:

The Oak Tree Tennis Courts and Pool/Racquet Parking Lot will close at 11:30 AM for carnival setup. All vehicles must be removed from that parking lot, and tennis and pickleball play must conclude by 11:30 AM.

Then, grab your costumes and treat bags and join us for the HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL AT THE OAK TREE TENNIS COURTS from 5:00–7:00 PM! Enjoy games, Trunk or Treat, food, and a costume contest with your neighbors. Come for the candy, stay for the fun, and give those costumes their moment to shine!

Nonresident guests must have a gate pass arranged through a Bear Valley Springs property owner to attend.

Please also note: The Whiting Center will be closed Saturday, October 24. Hosting an event of this size takes our full recreation team, so all staff members will be assisting with carnival preparations and festivities. Regular Whiting Center hours will resume on Sunday, October 25, from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us make this a great community event. We look forward to seeing you there!

School’s out early, and we’ve got something sweet planned! Join the Whiting Center staff on Wednesday, October 28, from 2:00–3:30 PM to make caramel apples and enjoy a little fall fun with friends.

This minimum day activity is just for kids, so bring your creativity and your sweet tooth—we’ll handle the sticky part!

Free entry for resident children; guest fees apply to non-residents. Available while supplies last.
