Father’s Day…
More than a celebration, it’s a day of reflection.
A reminder that the work never stops. Every day, I strive to become a better man, husband, and father…not just for myself, but for my children.
The goal: give them more than I had. More guidance. More presence. More opportunity. More love.
Not perfection…just continuous growth.
Because one of the greatest gifts we can give our kids is the example of a parent who never stops working on themselves.
Everyone sees the calendar.
What they don’t see are the small decisions made every day.
The early mornings.
The workouts when motivation isn’t there.
The conversations with your spouse.
The moments with your kids.
The effort to be present at work, at home, and for yourself.
I’m still figuring it out, just like everyone else.
But I’ve learned that balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about being intentional with the time you’ve been given.
Father.
Husband.
Leader.
Coach.
Athlete.
One day at a time.

This isn’t the feeling of accomplishing a goal.
It’s the feeling of knowing I gave everything I had.
I will continue to win because I am in competition with only MYSELF…
🏅 At the marathon, I didn’t care what place I finished.
💪🏽 At my NPC competition, I didn’t care who was standing next to me on stage.
💼 When I interviewed for my promotion, I didn’t care who else was applying.
My focus has never been on comparing myself to other people.
My focus has always been on becoming a better version of myself.
Set goals.
Don’t negotiate them.
Don’t compromise them.
Give them everything you have.
This year has been remarkable because I take ownership of every action, every emotion, and every situation I put myself in.

Man… it feels like forever since I’ve been here.
Harder training.
Bigger goal.
Same feeling.
Just like my NPC bodybuilding prep, I tracked every meal, every workout, and every mile. I never missed a session, and I never compromised on the goal.
3 months of early mornings, long runs, tough workouts, and trusting the process have all led to this.
Tomorrow morning, I’ll be lining up at the start of the Rock ’n’ Roll San Diego Marathon, ready to see what all the work was for. 💪🏽
See you at the finish line. 🏁
