Always good to spend some time enjoying the farm and the animals. Away from all the noise we listen to the little things and witness magic in the simple moments 🪄 ✨
Thanks for the cute picture

So exciting to watch this pair develop into a perfect match 🥰
and Magellan Sitte aka Mooooo 🐄

Sometimes the perfect match doesn’t happen right away… it takes time to build a strong solid partnership - that means horse and rider needs to be willing to let go of old habits and become a better version of themselves to become the perfect match for each other.

It’s just amazing how these special animals always shows us the way 🦄 we’re thankful to witness so many beautiful stories 🙌🏽❤️

Week 8 wrapped up on a high note ✨

Sarah Judson and Giovanni SL delivered a beautiful clear round to finish 6th in the 1.35m Classic — this pair recently stepped up in height and already look right at home. Excited to watch their confidence and partnership continue to grow 💫🐎

LET’S TALK HOOF BOOTS 🦶🐴

One of the most common questions I get about our barefoot horses is which hoof boots we use.
We love — they’re easily adjustable, soft, and incredibly comfortable for the horses.

How often we use them depends on each horse’s stage of hoof development.
• Horses new to barefoot may wear them full-time
• Horses further along typically use them for trail rides or walking to and from the ring at horse shows

Hoof boots are a great tool to support a smooth, comfortable transition while keeping horses happy and sound. ✨

There wasn’t a dry eye in the stands watching Gabriel and Harley D jump a clear round in their 5* Grand Prix debut and finishing in the top 10. 🥹

We truly have no words for what this moment means to us and our team. Thank you, Harley — you owe us nothing, yet you give us absolutely everything 🤍

Endless gratitude to our incredible team, clients, and sponsors for believing in us and working tirelessly to make moments like this possible. Dreams really do come true ✨

We’re excited to be hosting David Landreville on January 17–18!
David and his hoof-building method have been a critical part of our success in transitioning so many of our horses to being barefoot. The improvements we’ve seen in both functional and structural soundness have been truly remarkable, and the experience has completely reshaped my understanding of how much correct trimming can enhance a horse’s quality of life.
Participant spots are now sold out, but we do have a limited number of auditing spaces available for those interested in attending.

We’re back in the desert this week for Holiday I! 🌴🎄🌵

Sarah Judson and Giovanni SL kicked things off with a strong start in the Welcome, and this pair is looking sharp as they prepare for the 10 & Under on Saturday.

Back in action! 💥Harley D is feeling ready for a great winter season after some time off this summer transitioning to barefoot. This journey has added so many valuable tools to our program—helping us keep our horses happy, sound, and performing at their best.
He was one of seven horses we transitioned to barefoot this year, and we’ve seen them become sounder and more balanced than ever. We’re learning how to incorporate this approach thoughtfully—sometimes as a reset before returning to shoes, and other times as a permanent option for horses who thrive barefoot.
This individualized approach takes our horse care to another level. After all, “no hoof, no horse.” While barefoot isn’t a cure-all for every soundness issue, it allows us to catch subtle changes in wear patterns and compensations early—helping us support our horses from the ground up. 🐴✨

Post-competition stretches, massage, and BEMER therapy help improve circulation, reduce soreness, and prevent injury — keeping our horses feeling and performing their best is always our top priority
