Call about our move in special!
Immediate openings for boarding. Several options and price to choose from. All stalls are fully covered and include shavings bedding. We feed quality hay(s) 2xs per day, clean daily. Owner lives on property. Please reply for a tour and pricing.
Just a few reminders. Please try to limit the items kept in front of your stall to additional feed and daily items. Bungie your feed cans or buy the secure lid cans. Horses do get out occasionally and have a traveling banquet. The ranch is not responsible for replacing feed.
Please take winter sheets home and launder until they are needed in fall. Those that have been hanging on stalls all spring/summer will not be put on in fall or winter without washing and returning. Think about how much dust and possible spiders are homed inside of them.
Also another reminder, those of you bringing friends to visit, please be reminded that they should not bring their dogs with them. And as always, all client dogs, if they must come, should be on leash at all times.
Keep cool in these Indian Summer days!
Immediate openings for boarders:
12x24 fully covered pipe corrals, feed AM orchard- PM alfalfa or all alfalfa; shavings; cleaning 1x per day. Arenas, turnouts, round pens and back gate access to trails without going near roads/traffic. Stalls starting at $600.
I know not any posts in a long while.
So we are into May now, daylight for longer hours, temperatures are warming up, just a few early morning clouds, but other than the show barn, time to take those blankets home and wash them, put them up for the summer, have them nice and clean for fall.
For those of you not in the show horse barn we will suspend blanket service by end of May. Those of you wishing to continue with sheets, Sisters will not continue on and off service. We will resume in fall when temperatures and the amount of daylight changes.
Those of you that will replace blankets with fly sheets, that is not a Sisters service. If your horse is on a turnout schedule with us, and if you have a fly sheet on your horse, please inform us if you want the sheet left on in turnout, otherwise we will remove and sheet will remain off till you put it back on.
Thank you for your attention, and being such great clients!
Sisters made it through the storm just fine, as hoped. Thank you all that were concerned, but the Pollyanna in me knew we would be fine. Less rain here than our winter months.
Thanks everyone! We always have your horses best interest in mind!
Thank you to all clients and our evacuated guests for being so reasonable and calm! Several things to look at for future planning purposes. Identification tags or horse/client info to have at the ready so that they can easily be identified when evacuated. There are a number of resources for these online. Check it out on your own. Know that I keep all your agreements filled and if there is any updated info that I might need, let me know, and we can update. I am so happy that we did not have to leave, but it is a reminder to be prepared!

Yippee! They have just reduced our evacuation down to just a warning. I think that is all I have to say! Thank you hurricane for the rain, thank you Cal Fire for keeping us safe!
Rose
All quiet here at 4 pm. horses munching on dinner. Haven’t left the ranch but by the lack of cars on De Portola, they still must be stoping some traffic. winds are calm here no rain at the moment but understand they are still a bad factor elsewhere. will keep you posted. All still good for now. Thanks, Rose
