Just a rag-tag group of pals, playing ultimate and having a blast! BoP had quite the weekend at Revolution up in SF. After windy points, broken-into cars, an inability to get food at the Ferry Building, the Academy Award winning film Titanic, and the smallest squad at the tournament, we are so proud of where we are now and all the ways we will grow this season!

Calling all Bird enthusiasts, we got another tryout coming at ya! This Saturday, May 13th, join us at Robb Field from 9:00am-12:00pm for an open tryout - all are welcome!

Bring a light, dark, and lots of water! We can't wait to see you there!

Our very first Open Tryout for this season will be THIS Saturday, April 22, at Robb Field from 9am-12pm. Bring a white, a dark, and plenty of water!

If you can’t make this tryout, don’t despair. We have another upcoming Open Tryout on Saturday, May 13th, also at Robb Field, also 9am-12pm.

Our instagram has been pretty flower heavy so here is some love for the birds! Gaze upon this gorgeous male red bird-of-paradise!

Thank you to everyone who made it out today for the beach day, we had a blast and hope you all did too!

Let's keep it going with a combined mixer tryout tomorrow with and ! We will be at Hourglass Park (10440 Black Mountain Rd, San Diego, CA 92126) from 1:00PM-4:00PM tomorrow April 9th! Be sure to bring cleats, a white, a dark, and plenty of water (hydration is not a joke)!

Birds of Paradise is a San Diego Mixed Club Ultimate team that will be practicing 2 days a week, going to 3-4 tournaments during the season, and gaining 26 new best friends. We value commitment to the team, personal growth, equity, fun, and positive attitudes.
Growing together means playing together, so expect to see all of our players on the field (after all, you learn best when you’re playing).

We are adding an experienced coach this season to help direct the team in building chemistry while also emphasizing personal growth on the field.

Apr 8th - Birds Boppin’ on the Beach
Apr 9th - Mixer w/ San Diego Mixed Teams
Apr 22rd or 23rd- Tryouts!
May 13th - Tryouts!
