Tamie Smith — Defender Kentucky Champion and Team USA World Championships Team Silver Medalist will be putting on riding demonstrations all weekend

Miniature horses, autograph signings, gastronomy experiences, Defender experiences, live music and hands-on education stations round out a weekend built for riders, families, and adventure-seekers alike.

Before houses and wineries, there were horses! Up until the 1950s, horses, cattle, and sheep were the primary presence in the Temecula landscape, with ranching dominating the area. Due to the economic imbalance between maintaining ranches and developing the land, houses have replaced horses. The Temecula Equestrian Coalition (TEC) is an organization made up of equestrian owners, ranchers, riders, and business owners who are focused on protecting equestrian culture and providing for its future.
