Exercise isn’t only meant for the gym. If you struggle to get into the gym try setting aside a bit of time for yourself to get outdoors and move your body. Take the time to learn what YOU need to achieve your goals. Gym or not 💪🏼
Here’s an idea next time you find yourself in a beautiful location with a little extra time:
AFTER your warmup…
•Walk/jog/run for 2 minutes
• 2 rounds of planks for 30 seconds each
• 2 rounds of good mornings for 15 reps
• 2 rounds balancing on a single leg for 20 seconds per side
• 2 rounds of high knees for 15 seconds
• 2 rounds of jumping jacks for 25 reps
• 3 rounds of bodyweight squats for 12 reps
• 3 rounds of push-ups (standard, knees, or inclined on a bench or raised area) for 10 reps
Wrap it all up with some relaxing stretching and breathing 🧘♀️
🔥 Shoulder Taps 🔥
Never underestimate the power of the basics! Shoulder taps are a great way to build strength, stability, and speed in the upper body.
Start in a push-up position with a braced core then alternate hands to shoulders on the opposite side. Focus on your foundation first - stability and coordination with the movement THEN increase speed.
