MBBC Dance is proudly fundraising for Make-A-Wish Arizona with our Fall Dance Kick-Off Party on Sunday, August 25 from 12:30-2:00 p.m.

Join us for a fun afternoon of dance for all ages + levels featuring Zumba with Miss Tricia, jazz with Miss Sydney and hip hop with Miss Samantha! Your support will help grant wishes for Arizona children facing critical illnesses.

Summer is a time when Make-A-Wish Arizona’s demand to grant wishes is the highest, but it is also when support for the mission slows down the most. With 600 wish kids+ waiting for their wishes to be granted this summer, we need your help!

Don’t forget to RSVP ahead of time! Tickets will increase to $35 per person donation if you wait until the day of the event to register.

“I’ve been dancing since I was five years old. MBBC is my third dance studio, and has been with me for my second year at competitive dance. Though, my year here had some unexpected bumps, so many people here have helped me get through it. Just by being here for as short as I have been, I’ve seen how close everyone is with each other and I’m honored to have been welcomed into it.

In a few months, I will be attending ASU, majoring in business entrepreneurship. I’ll still be looking for opportunities to further advance my dance journey!”

We are so thankful we got to spend your senior year with you Nadia! You are incredibly talented, kind, caring, and hardworking. You are forever and always a member of the MBBC Dance Family. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you and we know it’s a bright one.❤️

•April 29,1974 - March 27, 2024•

It is with the heaviest hearts to share the devastating news of the passing of one of our beloved dance moms. Candi was such a bright light and always had a the biggest smile on her face when watching her daughters, Charlotte and Emmeline dance. She was a lover of Disney and we will cherish the memories of when we performed at Disneyland last year. Her positivity and resilience was remarkable and her joy was breathtaking. We are sending so much love to her three children, husband and family during this difficult time.

“Please join us next Tuesday to celebrate the life of Candice Joy Murphy. Services will start at Noon, followed by a reception at The Murphy House at 619 E Fairmont, Tempe, 85282.

Please wear your best Spring Attire as Candi’s wish was to be together in joy and not sadness.

Parking is limited, though there is parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. Please plan to carpool or ride share if you are local.

🤍 In loving memory of Emily Hudson (7/10/84 - 4/6/23) 🤍

Last week, we received the devastating news that we lost a member of our dance family. Emily Hudson was not just a mother to her three children Kallie, Peyton and Dylan but graciously stepped in as the unofficial “dance mom” for so many students at our studio. From offering encouraging words to kids having a bad day, giving students a ride to class, showing up to represent and support our studio at every competition and recital, bringing coffee and food orders at all hours of athe day or night, hyping everyone up at rehearsals, and fixing hair, makeup and costumes, Emily was there with a smile and ready to do whatever she could to help.

We will always remember Emily for her selflessness and positive attitude toward MBBC dancers, teachers and family members. She embodies so many of the values we strive to instill in our dancers, and truly showed through her actions what it means to be a team player. Our studio will not be the same without Emily but we cherish so many of the moments we were fortunate enough to have in our time with her.

All who knew Emily are welcome to join us for a candlelight memorial gathering at the studio on Friday, April 21 at 7 pm to honor her life and the impact she’s made on so many dancers, teachers, loved ones and friends in our community.
