2026 SURFERS WRAPPED 🤩

From an undefeated D1 regular season to Top 4 in the country in BOTH 15s and 7s, 2026 was one for the books.

This year we welcomed new players, and created more opportunities for players to compete and develop at different levels.

Next season, we’re launching a Division 2 side, creating a pathway for new and developing players to learn the game, build their skills, get on the field, and work toward whatever level of rugby they want to pursue. We’re proud of what we built this year, and even more excited about where we’re headed.

What a weekend. The Surfers, led by Tia Laine Blythe and Wing Ly, have walked away from 7s Nationals putting a stunning performance. We are especially proud of the rookies for stepping up, bringing the energy and positivity, and making their mark on the national stage. The future of the Surfers is looking pretty damn good 👀🌊

We’re exploring the launch of a San Diego Surfers Division 2 team for the 2026–27 season, and we want to hear from you!

Our goal is to build a stronger pathway for women’s rugby by creating more opportunities for players of all experience levels to develop, compete, and grow.

Whether you’re brand new to rugby, returning to the sport or looking for more game time, a D2 side would provide a supportive environment to develop and thrive!
