Studio VaVaVoom's foundation for teaching is one of BODY POSITIVITY. We promote good health to all shapes, sizes, and ages over 18. We are welcoming and affirming to all people, if you love glitter, we love you. While burlesque is our bread and butter, we also offer other beginner adult dance classes, as well as workshops on vintage hair and dress, boudoir photo shoots, and general well-beingworks

WHY we do, what we do
Studio VaVaVoom's foundation for teaching is one of BODY POSITIVITY. We dont judge or accept students based on a certain body type. We promote good health and sensual expression to adults of all shapes, sizes, 18 and older. While burlesque is our bread and butter, we also offer West Coast Swing, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Dance Samplers and more. The signature VaVaVoom format focuses on the journey of self-discovery, empowering women and men, by re-igniting sensuality and sending distorted body image and negative internal dialogue out the door. "It's not just about throwing glitter on yourself and shaking your ass on stage; It's about welcoming who you really want to be into your life and valuing who that is." Side Note: There is also ample ass shaking and glitter involved too!
We invite you to come dance, flirt and tease with us. It’s not just about burlesque- it’s about opening yourself up and re-defining yourself. But the burlesque certainly helps!
