We hope to see you tomorrow!
On Saturday , May 21st from 8am to 12 pm the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Metro Phoenix Flotilla 10-07 and Flotilla 10-08 in partnership with the Arizona Game and Fish Department and the City of Tempe will have team members on deck to assist recreational boaters and paddle craft enthusiasts at Tempe Town Lake. The Coast Guard Auxiliary will be conducting a life jacket exchange along with offering vessel safety checks at the SRP Town Lake Marina. Bring in your old worn out life jacket and exchange it for a brand new US Coast Guard Approved life jacket- for FREE! In addition to our life jacket exchange we are also offering free vessel safety checks. What a great opportunity to insure your water safety with a free life jacket and vessel safety information. Arizona Division 10 Vice Division Commander Jack Pauly points out that 88% percent of open water related deaths are due to the victim not wearing a life vest. Come on Tempe, let's wear it and be safe!
