The South Valley Rattlers have two 13U majors teams - one is “Black” and the other is “Maroon.” We have kids from Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, Tempe, Ahwatukee, Mesa, and Phoenix areas. Both teams have produced some quality players.
When you look at a program, you want to look at the wins, culture and how are the players developing?
As a program, we have produced three players selected for the USSSA Select 30 program this year, two players for the USSSA All American Games, two players for the Prep Bleacher Report Junior Futures games in Indy, and one player who made the 11u NTIS cut for Cary, NC for USA Baseball. Additionally, we have USSSA Select30 alumni as well as USSSA All American Games alumni playing on both teams as well.
Our program is run by qualified coaches, all of whom played College Baseball. We leverage outside resources to provide quality hitting instruction with the Houston Astros hitting coordinator. We consistently work out on the field and at Redline. We play 2 tournaments a month and compete in the USSSA International World Series, Triple Crown Slumpbuster during the College World Series and other out-of-valley/state tournaments. We are the team you want. We’re small with 2 teams but we produce quality players. You won’t get lost in the numbers with us. Instead, you will thrive with us. Our monthly dues cover costs and coaches are not paid as we are involved for the right reasons to give back to the game that has given all of us so much.
