A New Year and a new Desert Breeze Yoga! Meet Evelyn Steeb, the new owner of this mobile yoga teacher business.
Sadly, Donna Van Wyk is stepping down and going in a new direction, but she couldn’t be more thrilled to have someone like Evelyn taking over. Evelyn is as gentle a yogi, as she is strong a business woman, and Donna is excited to what new heights she will take Desert Breeze Yoga to.
Evelyn and Donna first met in 2015 at The Southwest Institute of Healing Arts when Evelyn was the director of education there. Evelyn moderated Donna’s final Yoga Teacher Training practicum. A year later Evelyn opened her own yoga studio, Body in Balance Yoga, and asked Donna to teach there.
A couple of years later Donna started Desert Breeze Yoga and asked Evelyn to come teach for her company!
Then, earlier this year, when Donna got accepted into a cardiac sonography program at the Arizona Heart Foundation, she asked Evelyn if she would like to take over Desert Breeze Yoga. It’s been 9 wonderful years knowing and of sharing yoga with each other.
Congratulations Evelyn and Donna in your new ventures!
