Our girl Brinnnnnn!!!

These girls….

They did not show up to play at all on Saturday, but decided today was going to be a good day… they showed up and showed out! 3-2 on the weekend, defeating both teams who beat us in pool play!

We had some stellar pitching and catching! Our bats FINALLY came alive today!

There’s plenty of work to be done, errors to clean up, and things to smooth out… but these girls are an absolute FORCE on that field and even more so they have meshed and have each others back through and through! They battle, they never give up, and they make us oh so proud to be their coaches!!

Championship #3 for the fall! Bring on our next tourney and let’s see what these girls can do!!

Our pitchers threw a total of 36 strikeouts in 5 games, 11 of those looking! Our catchers caught 6 girls stealing! We had multiple successful pickles, catches in the outfield, plays in the infield… had some phenomenal hits, and some even better base running!

Let’s go!!!!!

The girls rode the struggle bus today! Going 0-2 in pool play and taking their first losses of the season! Sometimes you win, and sometimes you learn! Today they learned. Errors plagued us, and our bats were just not there! Hopefully they show up and play how we know they can tomorrow for bracket play!

Game 1: Rylynn Strange took the MVP
Game 2: Cherilynn Houser took the MVP

We did have some great things happen, so it’s never just all bad! We had some great pitching and catching, with a throw out at 2nd and multiple real close ones! We made a few plays in the field, and had some good hits!
