Attention breakaway ropers: We have a couple breakaway sleds ready if anyone needs one. These are great to pull at high speeds berthing ATV, they pull nicely behind a horse without bouncing. Strong yet lightweight. $450

Started Head horse/barrel horse.

8 yo registered AQHA gelding. 16hh. Grandson of AQHA Superhorse Rugged Lark. Have papers. He is going to be something real special but we don’t have time and too many mouths to feed after buying our sons a bulldogging horse.

For some reason videos aren’t loading. If interested, I’ll message videos.

On the roping end: He’s pulled the breakaway sled 100s of hours, as well as roping it. Same with the hot heels. We mostly head it on him, but he’s seen the heeling side. We’ve roped a handful of live steers, slow to fast. He did great. He’s a big strong horse, but very calm and chill. Still taking it slow with him. Scored a bunch of steers, steer stopped slow steers. Stands still and relaxed in box. He’s been to some ropings just for exposure. Really not much bothers him. We pull barrels, has had legs roped, etc.

On the barrel side: been started, but far from finished. Lopes a nice pattern. Very willing to do whatever you want. Ridden by Molly and Bailey Davis in Scio. He’s soft and bridle ups nicely. Moves off leg. Uses his rear nicely for a big horse. She thinks he’s the real deal.

He would make someone a very nice all around horse. He has spent time on a ranch, and can go all day. I haven’t found the bottom of him yet. Like I said, he’s a cool horse, willing to do anything you ask of him. He just needs the right person to finish him out. He’s ready to be pushed. Very kind, good manners, etc. We just have too many horses.

Asking 15k obo. Reduced to 12.5k
