North East Texas Tactical A 1-Mile, All-Steel, rifle range & private sports shooting club for long-range enthusiasts. LR Training classes monthly. We have a .30 caliber limit.

.30 cal max, no .338s, sorry we don't have enough range for the big bores. This club’s purpose is to safely promote the shooting sports while offering North Texas an experience like none other. NETT is a service-connected disabled veteran-owned and operated range that started by the need for a place near DFW to safely shoot long distance. It is a friendly atmosphere where shooters help shooters. This is a good opportunity to meet new people from across the metro-plex who share your same passions and interests. This is a privately operated range and is for shooters who have at least a basic knowledge of ballistics and weapon handling skills. It is for both the hobbyist and the professional, and will have plenty of targets to challenge both. Due to the unique layout and design of the range, each member will have to qualify and show a high level of competence before firing on the long-range. This is a no-nonsense rifle range for precision rifles. An AK-47 with a scope on it will not cut it. We offer a 1-Mile. reactive steel range with full-size IPSC steel at every 100yd line and tons of other much smaller harder to hit targets as well. Each target will have its own backstop and equipped with a sensor which sets off a strobe light when hit in order to spot your own hits. There will also be several different shapes and sizes of steel with some way of visual feedback when hit. The firing line is on a 20' tower. It is enough to accommodate shooters and spotters/spectators. We are still dedicated to going the extra mile and operating at a high level of care to ensure the safety of everyone around.

🦌 DEER SEASON IS COMING — IS YOUR RIFLE REALLY READY? 🎯

We have availability Friday, September 18th for our Intro to Precision Rifle class at North East Texas Tactical.

If you hunt, this is the perfect time to stop guessing at distance and learn exactly what you, your rifle, your ammunition, and your optic are capable of.

A 100-yard zero is only the beginning.

What happens when that buck steps out at 300…400…or 500 yards? Do you know your actual elevation? What the wind is doing to your bullet? Whether your ballistic data matches what your rifle is really doing?

That’s exactly what we teach.

🎯 During this 8-hour class you'll learn:

• Proper rifle, optic & equipment setup
• How to confirm a true zero
• Muzzle velocity verification
• Ballistics and how to build/use a ballistic solution
• How to read wind and mirage — one of the biggest causes of misses at distance
• How to make accurate corrections instead of guessing
• How to understand your rifle's capabilities — and your own

Then we take everything from the classroom and prove it on the range.

You’ll shoot a qualifier and progressively work farther out, with hits to 1,000 yards guaranteed when using suitable equipment. Depending on your rifle and ammunition, we can continue to 1,200, 1,500 and even 1 mile.

We've trained over 1,000 long-range shooters, and many of our students arrive having never fired beyond 100–200 yards. By the end of the day, they're making confident, calculated hits at distances they never thought possible.

And for hunters, that confidence matters.

🦌 The goal isn't to see how far away you can shoot an animal. It's knowing exactly what your rifle will do so you can recognize when you CAN make an ethical shot — and when you shouldn't take it.

This does NOT take the place of our monthly Bellyflop matches, it is in addition to them.
We will be running a 6 month long Belly-flop competition. The top 3 scores at the end split the pot. Shoot it as many times as you want, anytime that works for you. $40 per attempt. Competition starts first weekend of September and runs through February.
