I've seen few posts offering good advice for beginners (as well as those who haven't raced in a while). As someone who's been doing this almost as long as Jeff Gill AND as someone who works transition at a lot of races, here are some reminders:
• Once you find your rack space on Saturday, LOOK AROUND.
• Figure out where Swim In, Bike Out, and Run Out are in relation to your rack space, and determine the most direct route from your space to each.
