Good morning. This is J. Bass and I'm reaching out for available singers to meet me next Friday night at 730p to sing at the wake service of Overseer Rena Lewis. As most of you know, she was the first pastor I served with as Minister of Music when I moved to Houston and she was a DUE singer and musician herself. WELL, ALL praises to God ... J. Bass Songbook Volume 5 is FINALLY available. I had to call CDBaby to find out why the ball was dropped, but they picked it up and it's available NOW. ... This project features the hit single "Music in Me," which features Elder Ronald J. Materre, Quinten Simon, Sean Holmes, and yours truly. Professor Kenneth Myles also assisted on background vocals. True Labourers OfChrist will be singing this song at the nightly musical, Wednesday during GMWA 2015. I believe it is a song who's message should be the sentiment of every Gospel singer, songwriter, musician, etc. Volume 5 also features "I Wouldn't Know You Like I Do," which was presented during the New Music Seminar at GMWA 2014. It features the Houston Chapter of the GMWA YYA and T-LOC Houston. This project also features Yolanda E. Brown leading "I Love The Lord," Michael Green on "Show Me Your Ways," Louis Lucas on "Let's Praise The Lord," and Sterling Thompson on "Jesus is My Everything" ...
