Attention all jockeys intending to ride at Turf Paradise. This notice is on the Turf Paradise website.

A jockey will have to declare the intention to ride at Turf Paradise by no later than Dec. 26, 2020. In between Dec. 26 and Jan. 3, a rider needs to provide a negative Covid-19 test in order to be considered part of the Turf Paradise jockey colony.

Since that is today and no one is at Turf Paradise today. I am giving you two options. Call racing office and leave a message. 602-375-6444 or clerk of scales Bob Dunham 602-769-5899

Also at the Horseman's meeting Robbie ( race secretary) announced that the draw will be on "Zoom". If you do not have an agent please email [email protected] your email and contact info.

Jockeys must show a negative Covid test taken between Dec 26 and Jan 3. For Horseman's convenience, You may get your test at Turf Paradise Dec 28 from 10am-5pm .

For additional information I have posted the jockey protocol handed out at the Horseman's meeting.

Hopefully this will help, especially the Quarter Horse riders that are not at Turf yet.

Hello horseman. Looks like we have a signed agreement with Turf Paradise for live horse racing. January 3 thru May 1 2021. AQRA Is sponsoring a 3 yr old Maiden Stakes trials Tuesday Jan 4 . Call for a blank 602-625-0468. $450 due November 15th. $300 due December 15. Hair testing required.

Hello there all QH owners and trainers. I've been reluctant to put any information on racing out yet as things seem to change daily. But I want you to know what AQRA is working on. We will sponsor a 3 yr old Maiden Stakes with trials first week of racing, finals 3 weeks later. Ongoing negotiations for added money and dates. AQRA open Spring Futurity, Desert Classic Futurity and AQRA open Spring Derby , trials to be run late March and finals in April. We had dates secured but as of today there are
changes to the racing schedule so this is as close as we can get for now, But please know we will have a nice QH schedule along with 4 and up stakes every couple of weeks. AQRA could use sponsors , contact me if your interested. Please certify your Arizona breds as all races will have Az bred incentives. Look for forms on www.azqra.com or contact 602-625-0468.
