There’s no such thing as a bad exercise!
Just misaligned prescriptions.
A back squat could be an awesome exercise for one person, and a terrible exercise for another.
Why? Because everyone is unique in their capabilities, their function, and their goals, and the exercises in a workout program need to reflect this!
Blanket statements about good and bad exercises always fall short when they’re not in the context of the person who’s performing them.

We exist within an industry that thrives on clickbait, the promise of the next 'thing,' the next magic pill or the solution to your problems that doesn't in truth actually fix the problem (if it is even a problem). The truth lies in simple behaviors:
1. Build consistency. We are living in an all or nothing age. Exercise and diets are often seen as a short term thing to help you achieve a goal or target. To actually win at long term results within your health and fitness you need to find a way to move and eat consistently.
2. Reduce stress. Pretty simple one this but if we want to function optimally we need to reduce stress. The demands of modern living pull us in so many different directions which inevitably create tremendous stress.
3. Get sleep. Again we know we need to sleep but if you actually want to give yourself the best chance to recover from exercise, digest food efficiently and perform at your best you need to sleep (MORE than 7 hours a night!).
4. Find balance. If you actually want life long meaningful results you need to find balance in your life. We so often look for compensatory behaviours to fix these imbalances (exercise to out train a bad diet, intense exercise to compensate for stress at work) but the truth is if you find balance you won't have to do this anymore!
There is no simple one size fits all solution to these things at OPEX Riverdale we help you find balance, optimize your energy, establish rhythm and find out what your purpose or why is.

Congrats .rod01 making the leap to start his journey of evolving from Trainer to Coach 🫡

The title “Coach” , is derived from the French word coche. Referring to the stagecoach (horse-drawn carriages) taking passengers from point A to point B.
Our modern use of the word has become a fitting metaphor.
As a health and fitness coach, I have made it my passion to ensure that I carry individuals from point A to Point B by use of individualized coaching.
(Fitness/Nutrition/Lifestyle Guidance).
I’m ecstatic to start the next chapter in my coaching career. The future learning, studying, and calls excites me. Looking forward to starting the OPEX Coaching Certificate Program (CCP) in July ☀️😁 Pre course readings are done!!
