Teaching Kitchen
Maple Roasted Carrots
Makes 6 servings (1 serving = ½ cup)
Ingredients:
• 1½ lbs carrots, sliced ¼ inch thick on the diagonal
• 2 Tbsp olive oil
• 2 Tbsp maple syrup (or honey/brown sugar)
• ½ tsp kosher salt
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• ½ tsp garlic powder
Directions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Toss carrots with oil, syrup, and seasonings.
3️⃣ Spread evenly on the pan and roast 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway.
4️⃣ Serve warm — delicious with Whipped Feta Dip!

Zanahorias Asadas con Jarabe de Arce
Rinde 6 porciones (1 porción = ½ taza)
Ingredientes:
• 1½ libras de zanahorias, cortadas en diagonal de ¼ de pulgada
• 2 cdas de aceite de oliva
• 2 cdas de sirope de arce (o miel/azúcar morena)
• ½ cdta de sal kosher
• ¼ cdta de pimienta molida
• ½ cdta de ajo en polvo
Direcciones:
1️⃣ Precaliente el horno a 400°F y cubra una bandeja con papel pergamino.
2️⃣ Mezcle las zanahorias con el aceite, el sirope y los condimentos.
3️⃣ Extienda en la bandeja y ase 20–25 minutos, revolviendo a la mitad.
4️⃣ Sirva caliente — ¡deliciosas con salsa de queso feta batida!
