Gena Alvarez has been assisting people with achieving performance goals since 1998. Gena is frequently seen training alongside her athletes.

Since that time she become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and has received certifications for various forms of group fitness through ACE, Johnny G/Madd Dog Athletics, Turbo Kick, and YogaFit. She began competing in triathlon in 2006 and added USA Triathlon Coach to her repertoire in 2009 after completing several triathlons from Sprint through Ironman distance.
