Weekend takeover with !

Wesley discovered Swimrun while searching for the end of the internet at work one day, and somehow landed at the first-ever ÖTILLÖ USA Casco Bay. Who doesn’t love an endurance challenge born from a drunken bar bet?

He jumped at the chance to race in Maine and hasn’t looked back since.

Since then, Wesley has become a 5x Casco Bay finisher, raced Catalina, Colorado, and embraced the chaos of swimming in shoes, running in wetsuits, and chasing adventure.

This month, he’s taking on ÖTILLÖ Orcas and is excited to share his training journey!

Jumping into a weekend takeover with 🎉

From completing nearly every ÖTILLÖ Swimrun USA race and a trip to the ÖTILLÖ World Championship, she’s no stranger to Swimrun!

For years, it was all about Team Adorkable with Trista (a solid 5-year run), but lately Amy’s been mixing it up with new partners and new dynamics. This season? It’s stacked!

Orcas with her husband (his first swimrun… and let’s just say, history there), Casco with frequent partner Anna, and Austin with Chris Menjou.

She’s bringing stories, fun, and a whole lot of swimrun wisdom to this weekend’s takeover!

Meet 🎉

Julia Dinesen, from British Columbia, Canada, was raised swimming off her dad’s speedboat in the Pacific. After running her first half marathon in 2023 and completing an ultra swim, she was hooked.

Since then, she’s taken on a marathon, an 18km ultra swim, and multiple triathlons. But discovering ÖTILLÖ changed everything. A swimmer and runner at heart, swimrun felt like the perfect fit. After racing Whistler World Series, calling it the most fun she’s ever had, she was all in.

This year, she’s taking on Orcas Island World Series, continuing her streak of running 2km+ every day since December 31, 2023! Follow along her journey of weekend training!
