The season may be winding down, but our commitment to you remains strong, however you’ll need to plan ahead by booking online or calling us with a day's notice as the shop won’t have regular hours.

We’ve been getting some calls asking if the river is closed due to the fire. It’s definitely open and beautiful. Get a float in while you can!

We will be closed Friday afternoon for a private party! Back open on the weekend though!

Do you just need a car moved while you float? Book it online with the new Move My Car option ($30) where it collects all the import data we need. Cars are generally moved between 11am-2pm unless special requests are made.

To manage downstream moss conditions and at the request of downstream irrigators, the outflow from Boysen will temporarily increase on July 10, 2024 to 4,400 cfs. At the completion of the
flush, the outflow will be maintained at 1,300 cfs.

July 10, 2024
0600 hours – Increase outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 2,200 cfs.
0700 hours – Increase outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 3,200 cfs.
0800 hours – Increase outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 4,400 cfs.
1700 hours – Decrease outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 3,200 cfs.
1800 hours – Decrease outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 2,600 cfs.
1900 hours – Decrease outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 2,000 cfs.
2000 hours – Decrease outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 1,700 cfs.
2100 hours – Decrease outflow from Boysen Reservoir to approximately 1,300 cfs and maintain
until further notice.

Peak runoff seems to be a thing of the past and normal flows are expected. The shop is ready to crank up the heat this summer!

Water Release information for Boysen Reservoir- June 21st @ 0200 hours Boysen outflows will decrease from 1800 cfs to 1600 cfs. This change will remain in effect until further notice from the Bureau of Reclamation.

10am-6pm Come down to the swim beach this Saturday June 1st and ”Rent Adventure” for FREE!!! There will be Kayaks and Paddle Boards to use in the swim area for FREE! Boysen State Park partnered with Rent Adventure(a local Thermopolis business) utilizing donation funds to host this fun activity in conjunction with FREE DAY USE ENTRANCE as well! Come on out and try one!
