It's WFTDA NA-West Regional Playoffs Weekend! Seems like a fantastic time to highlight one of our tournament MVPs from Y'Allstars 2026. This amazing skater will be taking the track this weekend with Denver Roller Derby: it's Chinaski!

Here's a little more about China from Fuego Latino Roller Derby:

She is not only an incredibly strong and humble skater, but her phenomenal performance on the track captures the attention of everyone around—not just our teammates. So excited to share that the Y'Allstars Southern Skate Showdown was recognized as the 2025 Event of the Year at the Lafourche Parish Bayou Ambassador Awards! Thank you so much to everyone who has helped to build Y'Allstars up over the last several years and to for choosing us for this honor!

It's been about 2 months since Y'Allstars 2026, so we're throwing it back to this adorable jersey swap moment between Chinaski and PR Nightmare, who both ended up being named MVP Blockers of the tournament in their respective divisions just a few hours later.
