Super proud of our accomplishments this week at the Sports Car Club of America Runoffs crossing the line in 4th & 5th place!!!

We have not all watched the SCCA broadcast of the race but from what we were told it has some epic coverage! We will post a link once we see them break it out into each race but for now you can view the entire stream of the days action at the following link… the T4 race starts around the 55min mark in the video:

https://www.youtube.com/live/GVIRDXbJSyA?si=4sxNBLsNNtqZpXL0.

As we mentioned before… this would never have been possible without the help of so many folks from Jason Benagh lending his racecar to Raymond Blethen at the New England Region SCCA majors back in July to Zack Kelly lending his racecar and trailer to Stephen Blethen for the actual Runoffs. Then we have Tom Gray making the trip to Can-Saf Auto Repair to get an engine and Randy Schneiderheinze lending his truck and James Chafe helping co drive so we could get both of the race cars out to the event. It was also awesome to have the support from Race-Keeper Trivinci providing the live streams and incar video as our Hoosier Racing Tires from Hoosier Tire East gave us the confidence to go flat out through the “kink.”

Lots of other stories to share from this weeks events but for now… making the 20hr tow back home!!!

The cars looked great in qualifying 3 today!!! It was the final qualifying session prior to the Sports Car Club of America Runoffs, and our only dry session so far this week! It wasn’t a perfect session for us and we would have liked to have been faster but overall very happy with the results…. This track is nothing like our tracks back home with New England Region SCCA so every session we have been re-learning a ton and getting significantly faster, this time shaving off another 22 seconds with the dry conditions 🤪

Here is the good/bad and ugly from today’s session!

- Good: We loved getting onto our new A8 Hoosier Racing Tires from Hoosier Tire East, they seemed to hold their performance better than the A8’s.

- Good *2: We have confirmed with Stephen Blethen that the ABS issues are fixed on Zack Kelly’s car…

- Bad: We missed when it came to the tire pressures, starting them WAY to high meant we came up to 41psi 😲

- Ugly: Raymond Blethen was loving the curbs, but probably a little too much as the toe link bolts loosened up in the rear making the car crab and wander down the straights… the “kink” was a bit scary with this setup!

Overall though very happy with where we are. Continued progress is fun to see and we are looking forward to a great race among some good T4 competitors!

Huge thanks to James Chafe and Randy Schneiderheinze for continually making us faster!!!

The second qualifying session saw some SIGNIFICANT improvements (18 seconds faster and a lot more left) despite some opps moments caught on the “Stephen Cam” - The camera facing backwards from Raymond’s car). Enjoy the video of Raymond Spinning in turn 5 and Stephen going a bit deep in turn 8 🤠

We also used this session to continue diagnosing the issues with the brakes in Zacks car…. We think we have solved the issue (after qualifying was done) and are excited for qualifying in the dry tomorrow!!!

May or may not get some more video posted later… for now it is dinner time at Siebkens in Elkhart Lake!

Q1 was wet and we only saw the diehard rain racers out there with most people on brand new rain tires. We ran the used tires to save some rubber and tested a few things. Massive changes in setup coming for this afternoons qualifying, heading to grid in 5-10 minutes!!!

Special thanks to Steve Introne & Melissa Introne for not only flagging in these lovely conditions but grabbing a few awesome shots of the cars heading up the hill out of turn 5 and under the corvette bridge!!!

Don’t forget to watch the live feed from Race-Keeper Trivinci!!! https://spell.solutions/rk/kvs30/index.html?loggerId=864839042804126

See that QR code in the picture??? Click on it!!!

We are very excited to announce that Race-Keeper Trivinci and BND Racing Services will be live streaming our on-track activities this week at the 2026 Sports Car Club of America Runoffs. You will be able to ride along with us in all of the qualifying sessions as well as the Race Sunday morning… well actually anytime the car is turned on, the camera will automatically come on live, so reality is you will even be able to watch us drive up to grid and move around the paddock!!!

The Race Keeper Connect camera system is in the car with Raymond Blethen tomorrow morning at 8:00am for the first qualifying session which is expected to be in the wet…. Should be interesting to see how that shakes out, never been here in the rain and we are running on an older set of rains and saving the “good rains” for race day incase more weather rolls in.

09/27/2026

Nothin, not even a Nor’easter is going to hold Stephen Blethen back from the 2026 Sports Car Club of America Runoffs at Road America…

We had a lot of people offer up trucks, trailers, even rebuilding the engines and we thank you all. Huge thank you to Randy Schneiderheinze and Zack Kelly….
