Wrestling Creates a Brotherhood That Time Cannot Break.

Most people think a team is something you join for a season.

In wrestling, it becomes something you survive together.

Months of shared suffering do something profound.
Early mornings.
Broken bodies.
Silent understanding in rooms where words are unnecessary.

You learn who a person is when they are exhausted, injured, and still expected to perform.
You earn trust not through conversation, but through effort.

Over a full season, the mat strips everyone down to their core.
Egos disappear.
Masks fall away.

What remains is brotherhood.

You become so intertwined that life events are no longer individual.
You will stand next to each other at weddings.
Your families know each other by first name.
Parents cheer for kids who aren’t biologically theirs.

Years pass.
Careers change.
Addresses change.

But the bond remains intact — because it was forged under pressure.

Wrestling doesn’t just build athletes.
It builds lifelong alliances.

And once you are part of that brotherhood,
you are never truly alone again.

Season home opener is tonight at 6pm against Northglenn and Legacy.

Hello Thornton Trojans!

We will be holding our Winter Athletics Parent meeting on Thursday, November 13th in the Cafeteria. If you are a parent of a student interested in joining a winter sport at THS, please plan on attending with your athlete. You will receive information about athletic guidelines and information on the upcoming season. You will also get individual time to meet with your sport specific coach. We look forward to seeing you there on Thursday, November 13th at 6pm in the Cafeteria at THS. GO TROJANS!!

Wrestlers--Tuesday, November 4th after school you need to meet Coach Phil Sailas in the gym. Wrestlers are setting up the floor for the State Gymnastics Tournament this Thursday-Saturday. This is a fundraiser for us.

Hey Friends and Fam, it's football season and we will be doing a Broncos fundraising Pool. We are raising money for our Jr Trojans Wrestling and the high school. Our goal is to fill two boards.

Squares are $50 each, in which you'll have the same square for all 17 regular season Bronco Game. Broken down that's only $2.94 per game.

The score numbers for the Broncos and their opponents will change every week, your square will stay the same.

Payouts for each quarter:

1st quarter: $35
2nd quarter: $35
3rd quarter: $35
4th quarter: $35 (No-Overtime).

Please make sure to read all the comments before sending your square choices. We will update the picture as the squares fill up.

Also, please make sure your squares are paid in full by Monday 9/1/25. The first game for regular season game is 9/7/25. Winnings will be paid at the end of each game.

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to EVERYONE who helped us last Saturday at the freshmen/sophomore state tournament at THS. We had wrestlers from other high schools helping us and rotating in to help at the tables. You all are the BEST and we are grateful 💙💙💙

We could not have ran that tourney without any of our THS boys and girls wrestlers , THS coaches, and THS parents. Thank you for all your donations to the concession stand, helping run the concession stand, setting up and tearing down the mats and tables and running the score tables all day long. 💙💙💙💙
