Have you ever wondered why our SKILLZ students earn stripes on their belts?💭

1. Stripes give a physical reward to the student! It lets them know they’re doing a good job in class🥋

2. Once students have earned 8 stripes, they know they’re ready for their belt promotion. It gets them excited for what’s next in their journey🤗

3. The stripes let the instructors know what the students know, and what they need to learn🧠

Twelve years ago, Salt Lake City hosted the first-ever Moo Do Dae Ryun match. This July 16–18, the National Festival returns — and so does the format that started here.

Moo Do Dae Ryun scores something most sparring doesn't: history, tradition, philosophy, discipline, and technique — not just who lands more strikes.
