Skyview Girls Basketball excels on and off the floor.

Many people try to browbeat Skyview Girls Basketball from the outside, but they have no idea the dedication these young ladies give every single day — in the classroom, in practice, in games, and in life.

Our job as coaches is bigger than basketball. It is to prepare them for the next level in life. That starts with standards. It starts with accountability. It starts with discipline, commitment, and pride in doing things the right way.

And for those who may not know — varsity freshmen and sophomores are not eligible for these honors under CHSAA rules, as the official recognition is limited to juniors and seniors.

But that does not mean we ignore the standard they achieved.

We will recognize it.

Because at Skyview, standards matter. Growth matters. Excellence matters.

These young ladies continue to prove who they are.

They compete on the floor.
They excel off the floor.
They represent the Wolverine Standard.
