Saturday was such a beautiful day.

I woke up early with the sun to do some beekeeping. Got into my mom's old pickup and with the world still waking up drove over to my dad's house to maintain the hives that I have over there.

I work in a small working class neighborhood so everybody was still asleep or nursing hangovers from the night before. It was just me on the road with the truck and country music on the radio which I don't even like.

There's something about the quiet solitude of beekeeping that I love so much. When it's early and you're up and the bees are working and you're working with them and the rest of the world is still laying in bed it makes me feel so connected with nature.

There's beauty and that connection and it's what keeps me so in love with bees.

Then I got stung in the eyelid before I could even get my suit on.
