EXCITING NEWS!

With all bills paid and calculations done, we're excited to announce the 2025 Five07 Turkey Day Dash 🦃🦃🦃 raised over $81,000💰 for our three nonprofit benefactors: Hospice of the Conejo, Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks and Scouting America, Ventura County Council !!! These are funds that will go directly back into the community, helping these trusted organizations provide greater levels of support for young and old.

Our hearts 💖 are full of gratitude for all the runners, walkers, businesses, organizations and volunteers who made this incredible outcome possible. We already can't wait to see everyone on Nov. 26, 2026. Stay tuned to this page for updates!

More than a week has passed and we still can't believe how much fun we had at the 2025 Five07 Turkey Day Dash! Perfect weather + perfect vibes made for a perfect day at Cal Lutheran.

We’re so grateful 🙏🏼 to have Adelyn and Emelia from National Honor Society of Oak Park High School volunteering their time to staff the Tree of Life 🎄 station this afternoon . The Tree of Life is decorated with star ornaments bearing the names of loved ones who have passed away. If you’d like to add a family member or friend’s name to the Tree of Life simply stop by the station in front of the elevator between Cheesecake Factory and Nordstrom and make a small donation. Open daily through Christmas Eve! 🎅🏻 Volunteers are primarily local HS students!

IMPORTANT: Every name written on the Tree of Life will be read aloud at our annual Reading of the Names ceremony on 6pm Thursday, Dec. 18 on the outdoor patio of the mall food court. The program will include music, a prayer and light refreshments provided by the mall. We welcome you to join us in this meaningful tribute. 🕯️

Everywhere we looked there were more costumes, more teams, more dancing, more fun. This is what the Dash is all about!

Congrats to our top overall male 🏆, Henry Didden, 21, of Woodland Hills, and top overall female 🏆, Kelli Short, 36, of Thousand Oaks (pictured in bib 665), who finished the Dash 5K in times of 15:33 and 17:21, respectively. Both received medals, a $100 gift card to Road Runner Sports and a $50 gift card to Newbury Park Bicycle Shop .

Henry is a senior in college competing for Bucknell University. He graduated from Viewpoint School in Calabasas. Short is a registered dietitian and certified personal trainer with a Masters in Exercise Science. She spent four years running track and field and cross country at La Salle University.

Other top finishers of note: CLU distance star Summer Gelman (2410, 17:46) of Agoura Hills; Turkey Day Dash legend Steve "Stache" Cox (1987) of Newbury Park, who set a PR with a time of 16:50; and up-and-coming phenom Dylan Warner (813), 14, of Newbury Park High School (17:15), the youngest top finisher by far.
