Westlake High School Wrestling is seeking enthusiastic and committed Assistant Coaches to join our staff for the upcoming season.
This is an opportunity to help build one of Southern California’s premier wrestling programs while making a lasting impact on student-athletes both on and off the mat.
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily practices and skill development
Help coach athletes during dual meets and tournaments
Promote a positive, disciplined, and competitive team culture
Support recruiting and retention efforts within the school and community
Serve as positive role models for student-athletes
Qualifications:
Wrestling experience at the high school, collegiate, or club level
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff, athletes, and families
Passion for developing young people through the sport of wrestling
Coaching experience preferred but not required
Westlake Wrestling is committed to developing champions in competition, the classroom, and life. We are looking for coaches who are invested in building a culture of accountability, hard work, and excellence.

Congratulations to senior Gabrial Guardado on becoming the inaugural male recipient of the SCWOA Award.
A tremendous honor that reflects years of discipline, sacrifice, and relentless work behind the scenes.
Gabrial will continue his academic journey at the University of Hawaii, where he plans to study Marine Biology.
