The Reef Volleyball Club is an organization committed to teaching and developing volleyball skills as well as emphasizing the values of teamwork.

We are committed to training each player, no matter what their level, to realize their maximum potential and develop a love for the sport. Reef Volleyball Club

is a participating member of the Southern California Volleyball Association (SCVA), USA Volleyball (USAV), and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU). Over the last 23 years Reef Volleyball Club has been, and will continue to be, the longest running volleyball club in all of Ventura County. We have been developing and training top players in the region for over two decades. Reef is family-owned and run and we believe that much of our success is attributed to the culture we’ve created and fostered over the years. We are one of the most respected clubs in the region, not only because of the success of our teams, but also because we have a track record of treating players, parents, and coaches with honesty, integrity and respect. When you become a member of Reef, you become a part of our family. We value each and every one of our players and care greatly for their successes both on and off the court. Reef fielded 23 teams last season, with players ranging from 9-18 years of age. We offer competitive opportunities to a wide range of players, from beginners to college-bound athletes. We take great pride in meeting the varying needs of our players. We also strongly emphasize the importance of training in a positive and encouraging environment. We want all of our players to enjoy their experience. Reef is incredibly fortunate to have a group of outstanding coaches. Our coaching staff includes multiple Head Coaches of local high school programs, many of whom also have collegiate and international coaching experience. Our coaches provide not only quality instruction in skill development, but also continued feedback, guidance, and support for our players. We prepare our athletes to be impact players on their school teams, as well as prepare them for the collegiate level. Reef provides our 15’s-18’s club members with a comprehensive recruiting platform, that maximizes exposure and helps transition players from high school to college. We are well-connected with college coaches and have helped place numerous athletes at colleges and universities across the country.

FREE PRE-TRYOUT CLINIC • FOR GIRLS 15U–18U

Join us this Friday for our FREE Girls Pre-Tryout Clinic—the final opportunity to train with the Reef coaching staff before tryouts.

Whether you’ve been training with us throughout the summer or this will be your first time in the gym, this is a great opportunity to get extra reps, receive quality instruction, and head into tryouts feeling confident and prepared.

We strongly encourage all athletes planning to try out for Reef to attend our Main Tryout on Saturday, as team formation begins immediately afterward.

WELCOME COACH COLIN SOPER TO THE REEF FAMILY! 💙🖤

We’re excited to welcome Colin Soper as Reef Volleyball Club’s new Boys Assistant Director.

Entering his 10th year of coaching, Coach Colin brings outstanding experience from the high school, club, and collegiate levels. He currently serves as the Head Varsity Boys Indoor and Beach Volleyball Coach at Oak Park High School and has been part of championship-winning programs while coaching teams to multiple USA and Open bids, SCVA Invitational medal finishes, and a Top 15 national finish at the collegiate club level.

Colin joins Reef at an exciting time as we continue growing our boys program. His leadership, knowledge of the game, and ability to develop confident, competitive athletes make him an outstanding addition to our coaching staff, and we’re excited for our players and families to benefit from everything he brings to Reef.
