At 805 Raptors we LOVE multiple sport athletes.

Bennett Julian, a Junior at Westlake, was named League MVP for volleyball.

He led Westlake in digs & kills. He was 2nd in passes, blocks, and serving aces.

He is being recruited by multiple Division 1 college volleyball teams.

Bennett played for Raptors 5th Grade until he was a Sophomore.

He made the Westlake Varsity Basketball team as a Sophomore.

It was great getting on the court with Austin Maziasz again. He’s back from his Freshman year at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore.

Austin will be joining the 805 Raptors Coaching Staff while training all summer with Coach Jason.

We are looking to add players to program. We have boys teams 3rd Grade to High School.

Our 3rd Graders played their first ever games today.

Jillian McGillivray had 19 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and a blocked shot in the “Battle of the Valley” All Star Game.

*Alumni Spotlight*

Leo Woronov, an Agoura High School 2023 Graduate, is living out his dream as a Student Announcer/Journalist for San Diego St athletics.

When Leo played for Raptors he would skip school the first 2 days of March Madness to watch all the games (with parent approval, of course) and now he is covering the games in person.

He covered the first two rounds of March Madness, writing, recording sideline standups, and interviewing players and coaches at every press conference. The official March Madness account posted Dominique Daniels’ response to a question he asked.

Congratulations Leo, we loved having you as our point guard and it’s awesome to see your dreams come true.

Our friends at Cal Lutheran Women’s Basketball are running a Spring Break Camp.

Michaela VanderKlugt is averaging 8 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds per game playing for the Netherlands. The team just qualified for the second round of EuroBasket, which will lead to Olympic qualifications.

The Concordia of Irvine graduate is also averaging 13 points and 7 rebounds per game for her professional team in France as they look to make a championship run as they are currently 2nd place in their league.

Keep up the great work, Michaela! We can’t wait to get back on the court with you as you prep for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
