We are proud of the hard work, discipline, perseverance, and growth these students have shown both on and off the mats. Promotions are earned through dedication, consistency, and the willingness to keep pushing forward even when things get difficult.

The first month of our Weapon X Program is officially done, and we’ve got 4 students now trained in Kamas.

We’re just getting started.

This month, we level up… Samurai sword training begins.

A belt test isn’t just about techniques. It’s about focus, courage, and pushing through the nerves when everyone’s watching.
Tonight this group did exactly that. Congratulations on the promotion. Now the real training begins.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out over the last couple of weeks. My family and I are overwhelmed by the love and support for my dad. He touched a lot of lives, and we’re trying to honor him with a funeral service that reflects the impact he had on our community.

With the growing costs of the service, mortuary fees, and everything that comes with planning something of this size, I’m putting together a fundraiser to help my mom. Thank you for supporting my mom, supporting our family, and helping us give my dad the farewell he deserves.

Last night, on 11/21 at 11:21 pm, my father, Great Grandmaster Dennis Ichikawa, took his final breath in this world and stepped peacefully into the next. He was surrounded by his family, listening to our favorite stories, holding his hand, and reminding him how deeply he is loved. The last words he heard were “I love you” from all of us. His passing was calm, pain-free, and filled with the warmth he spent his entire life giving to others.

My father dedicated more than five decades to teaching, guiding, and shaping this community. His lessons, his discipline, his kindness, and his spirit live on in every student who ever walked through our doors.

Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support. It truly means more than you know.
