This is the coolest underwater release shot we have ever captured and it really displays just how gorgeous this musky was that my buddy Mike Richardson caught on a DepthRaider just a few weeks ago.

Super-clear water muskies are just incredibly marked and sometimes elusive and hard to catch because of the clarity of the water in which they live. Check out episode 12 to see our late-fall clear water trophy hunt!

Episode #8 features the best topwater musky strike I have ever captured on video! Check out this awesome video of a giant inland Wisconsin musky going airborne after annihilating my TopRaider. This musky was barely hooked and watching the boatside battle still makes the hair on my arms stand up!!!

Musky Mastery YouTube channel is an educational fishing platform designed to deliver you current and cutting edge fishing information that will help you catch more fish! While bass, pike and walleye get their share of the limelight, it is certainly no secret that the focus of my channel is on....muskies!!!

Ever since I caught my first musky in August of 1999, I have been "hooked" on the sport of musky hunting and finding new and innovative tactics that will help me hoist more muskies into the net and in the process, show viewers how they can apply these same techniques on their own water, is mission.

Season 3 is all about raising the bar! My goal is not only to catch BIG fish on camera but also to show you how I was able to do it! New this year will be more videos on "catch-and-cook," where I will show you how to fillet and prepare different types of fish that I love to eat. Going from the lake to the table, I want to take you with me and show you how you can do the same with your friends and family.

I will also be featuring some hardcore wilderness excursions where I will venture into the remote stretches of the Northwoods and survive only by eating what I catch!

There is little argument amongst muskie anglers that one of the most intense ways to catch a musky is in the figure-8! And when it happens at night... you better make sure to hold on to your rod tight!!!

This video documents THE last day of the 2018 open water musky season! Water temps were 32.5 degrees and the lake was literally freezing around us, forcing us to troll along and around giant ice sheets. Boating a musky on a day like this is just one of the "coolest" feelings! Hope you enjoy this video and thanks for watching...."The LAST STAND Musky!!"

As the season comes to a close it is well known that muskies will attain their overall largest size so as conditions become harsher, my question becomes, “Is today the day we will catch the biggest musky to ever come out of Wisconsin???”

This is a legitimate question and it is a large part of why we push ourselves to the edge to keep a lure in the water until the very end!!!
