🌟 Meet Your Coaches: Coach Jenny & Coach Courtney! ⚽💙

We're excited to introduce Coach Jenny and Coach Courtney, who will be leading our youngest Upward Soccer players this season! Together, they're ready to create a fun, encouraging, and Christ-centered environment where every child can grow, learn, and have fun.

⚽ Meet Coach Jenny (Jennifer Thomas)

Coach Jenny grew up in Three Rivers and returned home in 2017. She is passionate about creating a place where every child feels welcomed and can learn new skills, no matter their experience or ability.

Many of your kiddos may already know her as Mrs. Thomas, a local Speech-Language Pathologist who serves students from Pre-K through 12th grade. Her son, Carter, stays busy playing community sports, and her husband, Patrick, has been a familiar face coaching both Upward Basketball and Flag Football.

Before earning her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Jenny taught preschool and coached preschool soccer. This season, she hopes to connect with each child in a meaningful way, helping them build confidence both on and off the field.

"I look forward to getting to know each family and ask for your grace and patience as I return to the soccer field."

⚽ Meet Coach Courtney

Coach Courtney has been part of the Three Rivers community since 2017 and has attended Riverside Church on and off throughout that time. She is the proud mom of two wonderful kiddos and loves spending time outdoors with her family.

Whether it's camping, jet skiing, relaxing at the beach, or enjoying any outdoor adventure, Courtney loves staying active. Sports have always been a big part of her life, and she's excited to share that passion with our youngest athletes by encouraging them, teaching the fundamentals, and helping them discover the joy of the game.

Please join us in giving Coach Jenny and Coach Courtney a warm Upward Soccer welcome! We're thankful for their willingness to invest in our youngest players and can't wait to see the friendships, confidence, and skills that will grow this season.

MEET COACH ASHLEY:

I was born and raised in Three Rivers & have lived in town and the surrounding areas for almost 4 decades. I advocate for & consult with people to help them strengthen their life skills and reach their full potential. I enjoy being of service & helping others. I love all kinds of athletics from walking to more physical sports and am blessed to coach with Girls on the Run. I am thankful for the opportunity to spread the love of Jesus and encourage the next generation through sports while helping them build confidence, skills, and friendships that they can carry with them throughout life.

MEET KARIE ROWE - COACH COMMISSIONER. She will be supporting our coaches throughout our season. Whether it’s on the field or off. She’s always on her game!

From Karie- I am so blessed to have the opportunity to help spread my love of soccer and Jesus. I have lived in Three Rivers for over 10 years with my husband and our 9 year old triplets.

I have played and coached soccer for many years. Watching kids and coaches gain confidence is so rewarding. I am excited to support the amazing coaches we have on on board.

This league is focused on player development, character development, and teamwork.
