We utilized neighboring lakes giving the anglers their own challenge to research and fish the one they thought would earn them the biggest catch of the day! It was tough fishing, great job to our young anglers!

Congratulations to Three Rivers anglers Collin Balk Fishing and Joe Anglemyer on their 2nd place finish at the Student Angler Federation (SAF) - High School Fishing State Championship at Lake Charlevoix last weekend.

Competing against many of the top high school teams from across Michigan, Collin and Joe showcased their hard work, dedication, and fishing skills on one of the state’s premier fisheries. Their runner-up finish is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to the commitment they have shown throughout their career.

The entire Three Rivers Wildcats Bass Fishing Team is proud of their achievement and the way they represented our community on the big stage.

Congratulations, Collin and Joe, on an incredible tournament, a well-earned 2nd-place finish, and a 2027 bid to Nationals!
