Three Rivers Varsity Cheer

Today, our very own Hannah Garcia and Carolyne Royal represented our Varsity Cheer Squad at the Texas Girls Coaches Association All Star Game.
Out of 24 girls from 1A-4A across the state of Texas these two were chosen to be apart of the All Star cheer squad. They truly represented our school and community with pride and passion. Congratulations again ladies for this prestigious honor! We are proud of you both!

Words can not begin to express our gratitude for the past 6 weeks we’ve spent with Penny Green-Rios for our stunt foundational camp. This lady is a walking book of knowledge from stunts, jumps, cheer and just life. The sport of cheerleading for these girls is just going to be a brief amount of time but the character we build beyond the mat of leadership, grit and grace will go with them for a lifetime. Thank you Penny for inspiring, teaching and being simply extraordinary.

It is Christmas in July for our cheer squad and we couldn’t be more excited! A huge thank you to the voice of the Bulldogs Mr Danny Gregory, Bobo’s grandparents The Cantù’s, Mrs Gaylene Burleson, Bobo’s Momma Mrs Christina Briseno and The Davis Family cheer parents of Chloey!

All of these items are for the community/student engagement or helping cover the needs of the squad as we plan out the year. So extremely thankful!

As we prepare for another exciting season of Friday Night Lights, the TRHS Cheer Squad has created an Amazon Wish List to help build school spirit and enhance the game-day experience for everyone.

Many of the items on this list will be used to support our student body and community through games, giveaways, and crowd engagement, while a few items are designated for the squad to help ensure a safe and successful cheer season.
