🇺🇸 KPC HOLIDAY CLOSURE 🇺🇸

KPC will be CLOSED Monday, September 7th in observance of Labor Day. 💚

We hope our KP families and all of our teachers enjoy a safe, relaxing holiday weekend! ✨

🌟 AUGUST STUDENT OF THE MONTH: ANNA! 🌟

We are so excited to announce that Anna is our August Student of the Month! 💚

Anna is a competitive dancer who recently moved to Florida from Ohio. After touring multiple studios, she found her new home at KPC and we are SO happy she did!

From the moment she joined our team, Anna jumped right in, worked hard, quickly learned all of our choreography, and brought such a positive attitude to the studio. She has already been an amazing addition to our KPC family, and we love seeing the positive influence she has on those around her!

We can’t wait to see all that this season holds for Anna! Keep up the great work, Anna! 💚

✨ GET TO KNOW ANNA: ✨

💚 How long have you been dancing or tumbling?
I’ve been dancing for 8 years and this is my 5th year competing. I also did gymnastics for 4 years, from ages 4–8.

💚 What is your favorite style & why?
Tap is my favorite because it’s fun! I also love jazz because you can have a lot of attitude.

💚 Favorite routine or skill you’ve performed?
“Hittin the Hay” was my favorite routine. It was my first competition tap dance and it was really fun!

💚 What is a goal you have this year?
Growing as a dancer and perfecting my back handspring.

💚 What’s been a challenge & how have you overcome it?
Confidence was a challenge for me. I overcame it by putting myself out there and talking to people.

💚 Favorite part of being a part of the KPC family?
The routines, the other dancers, and the instructors!

💚 What are you most looking forward to this season?
Performing my first tap solo! 🥰

New Skill Band Alert! 💚✨

We are SO excited to celebrate Maggie earning her skill band for her forward roll! And she did it during only our second week of class at KPC! 👏🏼

We are so proud of the progress she’s already making! Keep up the amazing work, Maggie! 🌟

At KPC, we love celebrating every new skill, milestone & accomplishment along the way! Our Skill Band program gives our students a fun way to recognize their hard work, progress & new skills. 💚

We are SO incredibly honored to share that Keegan Performance Center has been voted Top 3 for Best Dance Studio in Brevard County! ✨

And to think…this happened in our very first year with our doors open in our new home! 🥹

We are overwhelmed by the love & support our community has shown KPC. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU to every family, student, teacher, coach, friend, & community member who has supported us, voted, shared our story, & believed in what we’re building. This recognition means more than you know!

This moment is especially meaningful because of the people who helped make this dream possible. My mom, Ms. Mary, is my biggest inspiration & the reason this legacy began. In 1986, she opened Titusville Ballet & Jazz Center, beginning what would become a 40-year legacy of dance in our community. Everything she taught me about dance, family, business, & believing in your dreams has shaped KPC in so many ways.

My cousin Christina, my right-hand woman, also deserves a huge shoutout! She encouraged me to take the leap & open KPC when I wasn’t sure I was ready. She has been my rock through every step & all the ups & downs!

We are SO thankful for our amazing teachers & team at KPC, who are truly the backbone of our studio. They pour their hearts into our students every week, helping them grow, build confidence, & become the best dancers, athletes, & performers they can be.

Mom, Christina, & our KPC team, thank you for standing by my side at the gala & every single day. This recognition is even more special because we get to celebrate it with the people who helped us get here!

Congratulations to this year’s winner, Sarah’s School of Dance! We’re lucky to have such a great studio in our community & even luckier to call them friends. From collaborating to sharing the field at the Miami Dolphins game last year, we’re proud to celebrate one another & the special dance community we have!

Thank you, Brevard County, for welcoming KPC with open arms & believing in what we’re building. We are so proud of how far we’ve come & even more excited for what’s ahead!
