Just finished up this custom piece for a customer. Big thanks to for building the awesome antique barn wood pedestal. He’s building more for us right now. We are getting a lot of request for these floor pedestals this year, they can be customized to accept any form and are great if you’re running out of wall space. ybucks

R.I.P. “John Dillinger” This morning I was able to finally connect with our # 1 target buck for the past 2 years. I’ve had this buck on camera for 6 years now, I estimate his age at 8 1/2 He’s never been a great scoring deer but his frequency on camera and elusiveness made him well known so we named him. We put him on our hit list in 2016 when we realized he wasn’t getting any bigger, but he has really been tough to hunt. I can’t explain how stoked I am to have finally killed this buck. I’ve killed much better scoring deer but I don’t know that I’ll ever have a single buck that I have as much history with or that excites me as much to hunt. John Dillinger was a true adversary and tested my patience, skill and determination. I’m sad the chase is over, but I thank God for the opportunity to fulfill this intense passion and pursue these amazing animals.

A single breath, a toe over the line.
I draw the string and slowly raise my bow.
The center of the target will be mine.
My form is good my prowess I will show.
Through my fingers I let the bow string slip,
The arrow flying through the air, away.
It hits the X I hear the target rip,
I really hope that it is there to stay.
Not a solitary sound reaches my ears.
My bow is lowered and I close my eyes.
My heart pounding in my ears quiets fears.
I look hoping that my sight was not lies.
Anticipation turns to joy and I,
Achieved my dream when I let the string fly. ~ unknown
