Just like to give a shout out about a man named Pat Murphy he is an incredible fisherman that truly cares about his customers. For the last ten years I have known Pat he has volunteered to help me with my Take a Kid Fishin' program and I have purchased his awesome Flats Flies online and for years have called him from the water when I could not find the fish and he would tell me what the fish are doing and where to find them. I finally had the opportunity to hire him to guide me during this Black Drum run. He put me on MONSTER DRUM but unfortunately my fly fishing skills were not good today so I missed the hook set on two Huge Fish.The point is he knew where the fish were and he put me so close to them I could hear them making the Drum Noise under the water. I did not switch to my spin caster and held my ground at fly only, and for that reason I learned a ton about the species but weighed in nothing. With only a couple weeks left I recommend any of my friends that could use a fun day on the water to call him. What I thought was awesome was at the end of the day he took the time to give me pointers on my technique and just drifted on the river while trying to educate me on the intricacies of drum fishing. If you enjoy fishing this guy is a way you can take a major shortcut on your learning curve and have a blast at the same time. So time is running out for this very small window to catch one of these monsters. But he also fishes for Reds and Trout throughout the year. Give him a call and tell him Bill sent you.
