Let’s put things into perspective…

92.5% of highschool players won’t get past thier senior year of baseball.

97.8% won’t make it to a division one school.

2.2%. That’s it. Is your high schooler working harder than 97.8% of his highschool competition? Does he have better baseball knowledge then 97.8%. Ask yourself is the person your players getting training advice from qualified to give it ?

THIS TIME IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR PITCHERS DEVELOPMENT. What you develope now is what you will take into your season.

This is the most important part of their season. Don’t let your athlete wish they would’ve done more. Some athlete somewhere in the same age group is putting in the work. Let it be yours.

Practices are starting soon for most teams, the pre season is the best time to build trust, relationships and chemistry. If you are running through fundamentals only without some sort of team building exercises pre season you are falling short.

Our job is to not only make our athletes better but to develop them into respectable, responsible young men and women. As a coach you NEED to be the example.
