It's about choosing yourself enough to stop forcing what no longer feels aligned.

Alignment over attachment.
Peace over pursuit.
Reciprocity over reaching. 🤞🏾💯🦋

Know where you’re standing and WHO you’re standing with. Because sometimes, the very people you stand up for will leave you standing alone while they turn around and stand with somebody else.

You can defend them.
Support them.
Show up for them.
Have their back.
Speak up for them.
And when the dust settles, you might look around and realize, you were the only one standing there.

That’s why these days, I’m a little more careful about where I place my loyalty, my energy, and my heart.
I trust me.
I trust my discernment.
And most importantly, I trust Jesus. 🙏🏾

Because people will disappoint you.
People will switch sides.
People will stand wherever it benefits them.
People ain't 💩 sometimes. 🤷🏾‍♀️

So know where you’re standing.
Know who you’re standing with.
And make damn sure you’re not standing alone for somebody who wouldn't stand beside you.

God first.
Me second.
Everybody else, I'll move accordingly with going forward. 🙏🏾🦋

You know parenting was never meant to be done alone.

While my journey didn't unfold the way I imagined, God made sure I was never truly by myself.

To the two handful of people who've answered the phone, shown up without hesitation, loved my chirren like their own, encouraged me when I was exhausted, and reminded me I didn't have to carry everything alone...😪😮‍💨

Thank you. 🤞🏾💯

You know who you are.

From family * to friends who became family * to therapists * to teachers * to my now-grown chirren stepping in to help with their baby sister. 🥹😍🤩🥰

Motherhood has been the hardest assignment I've ever accepted, but also the greatest blessing God has ever trusted me with. Ah swear. 🙌🏾🧎🏾‍♀️🙏🏾

Five beautiful chirren.
Three born through my body, all Ceserean.
Two born into my heart.

I wouldn't trade this journey for anything. Jah know it wasn't easy, but it cudda worse. 😪😮‍💨
