For more than 40 years, the Greater Toledo Classic has been committed to raising awareness and support for local charities that improve the lives of children in our region. This year, we are proud to celebrate four extraordinary patients from Nationwide Children’s Hospital - Toledo and ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children’s Hospital—the two children’s hospitals serving northwest Ohio—and share their stories of courage and resilience to inspire our community. Home away from home ❤️

After their twins were born prematurely, Amy and her family spent 80 days at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Ohio so they could remain close to their babies while they received NICU care.

Stories like theirs remind us how important it is for families to stay together during life’s toughest moments.

We were delighted to have Luke Donald, Gary Koch and David Feherty headline our annual “An Evening With” event last week as part of this year’s Greater Toledo Golf Classic! The evening was a great success in helping us raise money for five Toledo-area children’s charities that will benefit from this year’s tournament! Gary was the perfect moderator posing questions to Luke and David about their playing careers and Ryder Cup experiences. Both were candid, interesting and funny! Luke’s record as a player and captain for Team Europe is amazing. He played on four winning teams and has captained Team Europe to back-to-back wins. Huge thanks to our sponsors for making it a night to remember!
