Because of how Facebook business pages work, we're currently unable to work at an optimal level to foster our community here. Our new page will give us the ability to interact more and keep everyone up to date better than ever. Our original page will still exist, but it will be inactive and all activity from us will take place on the new one.

IMPORTANT NEED FOR BASKETBALL! We need a few more site coordinators for some time slots and locations. Please review the responsibilities included as images on this post.

Here are the locations and times requiring a site coordinator:

Leverette: Feb.25 from 8:45-10:30a & 10:30a-12:15p
Byrnedale: Jan.28 from 8:45-11:45a & Feb.25 from 11:45a-2:15p
Escuela: Feb.4 from 8:45-10:45a; Feb.4 from 12:45-3:15p; and Feb.18 from 12:45-3:15p.

We are passing along two different opportunities for girls’ baseball development events. If interested, please read the details on each flyer and make note of the registration deadline of Jan. 15th, and also that these are not local and would require travel.

📣 We are in need of a head coach for the 7/8 grade boys Leverette team. This is the only team without a coach. If you or someone you know are interested in coaching this team, please email us at [email protected]

Does your kid need a haircut? ✂️ We want to share this exciting opportunity with our community. Jeremiah will be helping us with basketball this season and he is offering free haircuts for kids TODAY! Don’t miss it. Today from 3-7pm.

A few important updates for TEAM families. As many of you know, registration is closed and we are no longer taking any new registrations.

📌 The following teams STILL NEED COACHES (broken down by grade):👇

1/2– Elmurst coed
3/4 boys– DeVeaux, Elmhurst, Hawkins, Leverette
3/4 girls– Beverly
5/6 boys– Beverly
7/8 boys– Beverly, DeVeaux, Leverette

*Coaches do not need to be parents. They can be friends, teachers, relatives, anyone. All volunteers are background checked and trained in CPR.

📌 Also, if you are already registered to coach and haven’t yet heard from your division director, we have a coaches meeting this Saturday morning the 17th from 9-10:30 at the Sanger Branch Library 3030 W. Central Avenue. We apologize if this is short notice for any of you. We’ve been hard at work in getting the information out through the proper channels.

📌 If you’re a parent wondering when practices will begin, or when you will hear from your coach, hang tight. It will be soon. School building permits have practices not beginning until Jan. 2.

A behind the scenes look at the Basketball Committee putting teams together this morning. A lot of work goes in to making this happen. 575+ kids playing!! If your child is signed up, you will receive an email linking you to the website where you can view your team, teammates, and coaches. Coaches will be reaching out in the next week or so. 🏀🏀🏀

TEAM has partnered with Dick's Sporting Goods to offer two different money saving opportunities for our families.

🛒 Local Dick's Sporting Goods stores will be hosting special Shopping Days just for our TEAM families. On these days, our families will be offered a coupon which will get them 20% off of most items in the store. These special coupons will only be valid during the selected weekends and MUST be presented at the store to receive the discount.

🛒 Dick's Sporting goods is also offering coupons, valid until the end of 2022.

Our 2023 Basketball Shopping Days will be from 12/9/2022-12/12/2022. Be sure to print and take with you or present it from your phone at time of checkout.
