About Coach Kevin Plueard

My name is Kevin Plueard, and I bring a lifelong passion for sports, mentorship, and community building to every athlete I work with. Originally from the West Coast, I grew up playing youth sports, advanced to a brief stint in college football, and continued competing at a semi-pro level and in adult flag football leagues. Those experiences not only shaped me as a player but also taught me the value of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—values I strive to instill in every student I coach.

Today, I proudly call Bedford Township, MI home. When I’m not serving as the General Manager at Berger’s Olde Tyme Bar & Grill or spending time with my family, you’ll find me on the field coaching and mentoring youth athletes. I specialize in training offensive and defensive linemen, but I have the knowledge and experience to develop players at any position who are looking to gain a competitive edge. My focus goes beyond improving athletic performance—I aim to build character, confidence, and leadership skills that last a lifetime.

Community service is at the heart of everything I do. I’m currently launching a multi-level girls’ flag football program in Bedford Township, designed to help female athletes develop their skills, foster teamwork, and pursue opportunities like college scholarships—and perhaps even compete at the Olympic level, now that women’s flag football has been added to the Games.
